Do You Know The Symptoms Of Liver Cancer?
Taking care of your liver is absolutely essential, given that it has over 500 different functions in the body and works incredibly hard to keep you happy and healthy.
There are all sorts of ways in which you can keep your liver healthy, whether that’s through maintaining a healthy weight and following a balanced diet or getting regular exercise, drinking responsibly and taking antioxidant liver detox supplements to help keep everything ticking over nicely.
But it’s also important to know what symptoms to look out for that could indicate you have a problem with your liver, so you know when to go and see your doctor for help and advice. Signs of liver disease include abdominal pain and swelling, chronic fatigue, loss of appetite, bruising easily and nausea or vomiting.
It’s more important now than ever to be aware of such signs and be proactive about your health, given the fact that the global pandemic shows no signs of slowing just yet.
New research from the British Liver Trust has just revealed, however, that 47 per cent of Brits would delay going to see the doctor during the pandemic if they had a swollen stomach, nausea or loss of appetite.
Medical adviser to the British Liver Trust Dr Abid Suddle explained that people can be at risk of developing liver cancer even if they’re teetotal and if they have any persistent symptoms that aren’t normal for them, they should be concerned.
Experiencing symptoms like nausea, loss of appetite, a yellowing of the whites of the eyes and a swollen stomach shouldn’t be ignored, with Dr Suddle advising you to go and see a doctor to get them checked out.
“These findings once again highlight a worrying lack of awareness and common misconceptions about liver cancer. Unless we take action now, this will lead to a surge in liver cancer deaths in the future,” he went on to say.
Reduce your risk of developing liver problems by keeping your weight down. If you’re currently overweight, avoid going on a crash diet, as rapid weight loss isn’t healthy. Aim for five portions of fresh fruit and vegetables a day, make sure you drink plenty of water and stay properly hydrated and get at least half an hour’s exercise each day.
You can also go above and beyond by trying de-liver-ance, an antioxidant elixir that can help with natural detoxification, stimulating the liver’s natural processes while giving your mental acuity a serious boost. It features all sorts of delicious ingredients that are incredibly good for you, including astragalus, red sage, ginseng, honey, kudzu, peppermint, poria and lots more.
The tried-and-tested formula has been proven to help stimulate the liver’s natural processes, so if you think you could do with a bit of a boost right now, perhaps give it a go and see how good you could feel.
